Margaret Bienert
splits her time between Los Angeles and Southwest Michigan, where she lives and works with her husband, Corey. Originally from the Midwest, she moved to California in 2015 to pursue creative work and has since built a career in photography, directing, and video production.
She co-founded the production company Marginal Creative and is the co-creator of A Pretty Cool Hotel Tour — an ongoing project exploring the world’s most vintage, kitschy, and theme-filled hotels. Together, she and Corey are also the co-authors of Hotel Kitsch, a book celebrating the art of playful, nostalgic hotel design.
Their latest project is Sweetheart Hideaway — a romantic, vintage-fantasy vacation rental in Southwest Michigan featuring a heart-shaped tub, hot tub, and a unique, whimsical design inspired by their travels.
When she’s not creating or on the road, Margaret writes and records music, which you can listen to on Spotify.
